I had totally forgotten that - so thanks for the reminder! 

Amzingly, it must be 20 years since I last saw it, yet seeing it again it could have been yesterday it was so fresh. Just a shame the lager was awful.

I seem to recall I was a young hack on the Evening News in Edinburgh around the time this ad came out and it got quite a lot of media coverage.

Not as much, though, as the &quot;chinheads&quot; ad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpF5AnWNhgg
which is of similar vintage. 

I think this got a lot of coverage in the News because the tune was by an Edinburgh-based boy band. 

I&#039;m off now to drink myself into stupor.
