ARE YOU DAFT? OBJECT TO THE HEAT? NEVER!

I am in France at least half of the time -- and that includes now.

In hot weather, the women in France remove almost all of their clothes. If they are anywhere near the water, make that ALL of their clothes.

And French women ALWAYS look good! I don't know how or why, but the women in France do whatever it takes to be gorgeous all the time. It is amazing. I mean, truly amazing.

So, uh, you're not going to hear ME complain about the hot weather.

I have managed to get a few things done, in this highly distracting environment. I took Google up on its offer and made a "Knol." If you're curious, this is the URL:

The comparison isn't quite fair. While the temperatures might be slightly cooler in Singapore, Harare etc. you are talking about outside temperatures. And you generally have a breeze outside in some of these places which makes the actual temperature less uncomfortable. In a working environment, and without a breeze, fan or working AC it's daft to compare places. A newspaper office in Singapore would send staff home if the AC konked out and staff sweltered a la toi. You need to complain more... Or ask managemen to buy a fan.

More to the point, why's there a large floor fan balanced on a desk, and blasting out air directly where you *used* to sit?
