The Midterms roadtrip was suggested in a comment and I did mention I had seen it - it's very good. I also mentioned I liked the Three gorge dam piece as well.

I suppose in my head, if not on screen, I was putting multimedia to one side to look at discrete uses of video. That's not to do down the multimedia stuff. Combining text, audio, video and images in one package is the best way to work the medium hardest and I recognise the Guardian as worked hard in this area. 

Your right though. It would be nicer if it had a bit more of a profile on the site.
