A worthy combination, if ever there was one. And I’m chairing the NMK event of that name tonight, at Albannach in Trafalgar Square. It’s a series of events inspired by Tom Coates’ cry last year: “Where are all the UK startups?” Which is a reasonable question.
Deirdre Molloy has assembled a top notch panel, even if she slipped up with the chairperson… we’ve got Meg Pickard of AOL and Meish, Tim Morgan of Mint Digital (who do the remarkable islandoo.com) and Philip Wilkinson of Crowdstorm, the social shopping site I only wish I’d consulted prior to buying my rubbish TV (due to return on Friday, you’ll be excited - or not - to hear).
It is, I’m slightly intimidated to learn, a sell-out. But is anyone from this parish going?
