Good piece by Nils Pratley in today’s paper on the madness of the Google share bubble, now inflated to 25 times annual sales. That’s 25x sales, not profits. When 25x profits is seen as expensive.
Also includes, near the end, a wonderful quote from Sun CEO Scott McNealy, regarding his shareholders’ behaviour during the last dot.com boom. which somehow I’d never seen before. It ends: “What were you thinking?”
