The blog revolution continues apace at Guardian Unlimited. For the first time, our very popular Saturday arts and listings magazine The Guide is online, and the Guideblog forms the front page, providing insider gossip and the trademark bitchy comment right through the week.
As you’d expect, the blog is written by the same team that creates the unique Guide voice every Saturday: Tim Lusher, the editor, and his colleagues Richard Vine, Kathy Sweeney and Steve Rose. It’s been great to see the team adapt to the blog format so well – Tim took his digital camera to the Mercury Music Awards earlier in the week, and got a great shot of winners Franz Ferdinand. The next day he blogged it – an early picture exclusive for our newest blog. He’s now resolved to take his digi snapper everywhere he goes. Fantastic stuff.
